"You have one allergic little girl"

That is what the allergist told us after we had the testing done for all the "What if's"  Bean got tested for 15 different common allergens and well she tested positive for 11 of them!!  Life as we know it has now changed .... again!

Peanuts, Pecans, Almonds, Walnuts, Sesame Seeds, Cat Hat, Dog Dander, Cashews, Clams, Codfish, Tuna, Soy & Egg Whites

As promised .... here is the BEAN update (April to August)

Okay so I'm super sorry it has taken me so long but well quite honestly, I'm lazy!  We are quickly approaching Beans 2nd birthday.... I know I can hardly believe it myself!  She is just shy f 22 months old.  She is so independent and loves to play by herself.  She will take things in and out of a container (like crayons in a box) for an hour without blinking an eye.

She is finally able to be back in disposable diapers; although they are the most expensive, all organic 100% cotton disposables.  They are very convenient however I think they are hindering my almost potty trained little one bc she can't tell when she is wet now..... I have to think about what I like more.  Having an "interested in being potty trained 22 month old" or "not ripping my hair out because I have to wash diapers every night self" .... hmmmm I think for now the disposables win.

As my brother calls her, she is one of THOSE kids. She is allergic to peanuts, walnuts, almonds, cashews and sesame seeds. Also pet dander. I think it is primarily cat though bc Hunters kennel is one of her favorite play spots and it doesn't seem to bug her at all. But when she is at my moms house she busts out into hives. We are dealing with the situation though and learning how to shop & how to properly read labels. Two shocking things I never thought she wouldn't be able to have are Little Debbies Swiss Rolls (the ho ho's!) they are manufactured in a plant that contains nuts and she also can't have certain types of wheat bread bc they contain sesame seeds!!  First is the picture that was taken on our way to the ER and the second was immediately after receive the EPI shot at the ER.  I'll post a detailed blog about my thought on all of that later but for now its getting late so I need to get this done.

This was supposed to be primarily a "picture" post but I would like to finally add that Beans vocabulary is BOOMING.  Now she isn't a Della yet :P or anything (can you sense my momma jealousy??).  She can say that basics:  Momma, Dada, PapPap, Nanny, Baby, BooBoo, Banana, Leesie (Aunt Lesa) and she also says, Cook (for when she is hungry), Poop and her ever so famous Purple (which if its the color it sounds more like Puuurpool and if its the Popsicle its Purpop).

Some of my favorite words she says are Please & Outside.  Please is always so elaborate.  It sounds like peeeeeeease and outside is just cute.  She also called Lexus "Poo Poo" Because we have always called Josie JosieBean and Lexi LexiPooPoo.  She can now form sentences to answer questions or to get her point across. Just a few off the top of my head are "I did" if you say something like "go do this". She can also say stuff like "go outside" "don't do that" or "put me down" "where did it go?"

She is a sassy one I tell you.  I'll do my best to put them in chronological order.  Here goes:
