We took the girls to Traxx Farms yesterday it was uber crowded and the lines for everything were INSANE but they had an absolute blast climbing all over the pumpkins
Its really hard to get 2 toddlers to look & smile at the same time but we did get this one
 What a goober
Miss Lexiloo found a hole in her pumpkin that she was sitting on
Look at the height difference (and bean is 30 days older)
I wanted Derek to take pictures of them on the tractor bc it reminds me of growing up.  My pap had one just like this & I used to love to ride on it
Both girls were super tired and weren't too fond of standing in the lines
 Momma's

Love her baby belly - can't wait to meet him Dec 3rd
 "Keeeeys Daaaadeee"

Finally the CHOO CHOO - seeing the pure joy on their faces as they
came back from the ride was worth it all
 Feeding & Loving the Animals

Seriously check out the pink cheeks
 Choo Choo
Riding the Hayride up to the pumpkin patch
This is one of my favorite pictures, she is such a curious little kid and loves to look at everyone & everything around her.
One of my favorite of Lex too - totally shows her personality, she is always so funny!!
 Lex pointing out her pumpkin

Bean sitting on her first ever pumpkin
I have a picture of myself in a pumpkin patch and wow do we look alike
finally my favorite picture of all time I think of them

So I missed my FLAME FREE FRIDAY CONFESSION .... Sorry, we spent the day cleaning up the outside of the house ripping out bushes and de-ghettoing the porch and then lit the chimea and we all sat out on the porch and enjoyed the first day of October!!! <3 Love!!!

So I don't want to turn my FFFC into a "Not Me Monday" because I'll probably jump on that bandwagon too (if you don't know what Im talking about head Over to McKMammas Blog) so my FFFC:

  • I used to keep a pack of Oreo's under the seat of my car, when I wasn't pregnant
  • I used to go back to sleep on the bathroom floor while the showering was running in highschool to make my mom think I was awake.
  • I don't clean my car until it starts to smell then usually I find several outfits for both myself and Josie (undergarment included) and a nice array of sippy cups, silverware, shoes & other things that make me question why they are in my car.
& to my favorite - the one that I get made fun of on a regular occasion by the Novotny's =) Love them!

In my fridge I have 8 bottles of juice, 4 jars of pickles, 4 bottles of jelly, 3 ketchups, 3 mayo's, 2 Applesauces & 2 mustards (i loath mustard too) and a whopping 11 yes ELEVEN different salad dressings

10 on Tuesday

So I admittedly suck at blogging recently but I am vowing to make a change in that. I am going to try to keep up on a few easy things first like "10 on Tuesdays" and "Wordless Wednesdays" and I'm going to steal a little jem from THEbump/knot/nest etc. called "Flame Free Friday Confessions"

I want to be a better blogger just to give myself something to release to. My world is so overwhelming right now that to have some consistency and known constant would be nice... so here goes:

*one*
Beanie is getting to be a lot more verbal these days. She can COUNT :) ... okay so she knows that TWO comes after one and that is it but hey its a start!!
*two*
One of the things that makes me the most proud as a parent is hearing that Bean has great manners. She has been complimented by a waitress as well as a teacher at her daycare. She knows to say Please & Thank-You and now we are working on Your Welcome!
*three*
Hunters new name is Hoo Hoo... we have no clue where it came from but that is what is screamed from the back door when Bean is throwing treats at her from the screenless door!
*four*
Bean has been sick for weeks now. I knew that putting her in daycare would come with an occasional cold but she has had one thing after another since the beginning of the month. Today we went to see the pediatrician and she has a sinus infection an ear infection. So now not only is she an allergic little girl but also a sick little girl!
*five*
We are doing a duo-party for Lexiloo and Josiebean this year. I am super excited for it and we are just starting the planning. The hardest is going to be making all the food and treats BEAN FRIENDLY! This is a biggie for me (and luckily Brooke agrees) that first off its Beans party (well Lexies too) but she SHOULD be able to eat anything and everything there without fear but most importantly I would like to not WORRY that someone may give her something unknowingly or she may grab something from a table that she shouldn't have!
*six*
Bean has become very possessive of me and won't let anyone put their arm around me or touch me. She will immediately point her finger at them and say "no momma" and come separate us and push them away from me!
*seven*
One of my favorite things she says is "dance momma dance" while she shakes what her momma, errr I, gave her!!
*eight*
She loves and I very seriously mean LOVES her poo poo (aka Lexus). She asks for her multiple times a day and knows when we turn off of 40 she is going to see her and is VERY upset if she isn't at Bevs/Lesas when we get there! We were recently in Ohio for a funeral and I told her her Uncle Michael was going to be there and instantly she said "POO POO" all excited ... needless to say she was bummed to learn she wasn't there but dealt with another little girl that toted her around and played with her all night!
*nine*
I love (and hate) that fact that Bean has been to see the pediatrician so much recently that she knows what the "stick" is for. The doctors/nurses in our office often use it as a diversion until they need it for the actual use of pushing down her tongue to gag her, aka check the back of her throat. As soon as she got it today she turned around and stuck it in my mouth and said "ahhh mommma"
*ten*
I wish I had it on video an I'm still trying to catch it but Bean does the cutest introduction of herself. She holds her hand up and says "HI" (then puts in on her chest) "I BABY".

LOVE HER!

Rawwwwwr!

Its so cute to me that Bean loves the LION KING as much as she does. She seriously watches it a few times a day and will sit either in her bed or on her chair and watch the entire thing! *Its wonderful bc it gives me time to clean, do homework or just veg out and watch some adult TV

"You have one allergic little girl"

That is what the allergist told us after we had the testing done for all the "What if's"  Bean got tested for 15 different common allergens and well she tested positive for 11 of them!!  Life as we know it has now changed .... again!

Peanuts, Pecans, Almonds, Walnuts, Sesame Seeds, Cat Hat, Dog Dander, Cashews, Clams, Codfish, Tuna, Soy & Egg Whites

Bean & her Dadda in the waiting room
The markings for the first set of allergens
What they looked like within 10 minutes of exposure
How we made it "all better" :) Cheesecake Factory & playing in the water garden!

As promised .... here is the BEAN update (April to August)

Okay so I'm super sorry it has taken me so long but well quite honestly, I'm lazy!  We are quickly approaching Beans 2nd birthday.... I know I can hardly believe it myself!  She is just shy f 22 months old.  She is so independent and loves to play by herself.  She will take things in and out of a container (like crayons in a box) for an hour without blinking an eye.

She is finally able to be back in disposable diapers; although they are the most expensive, all organic 100% cotton disposables.  They are very convenient however I think they are hindering my almost potty trained little one bc she can't tell when she is wet now..... I have to think about what I like more.  Having an "interested in being potty trained 22 month old" or "not ripping my hair out because I have to wash diapers every night self" .... hmmmm I think for now the disposables win.

As my brother calls her, she is one of THOSE kids. She is allergic to peanuts, walnuts, almonds, cashews and sesame seeds. Also pet dander. I think it is primarily cat though bc Hunters kennel is one of her favorite play spots and it doesn't seem to bug her at all. But when she is at my moms house she busts out into hives. We are dealing with the situation though and learning how to shop & how to properly read labels. Two shocking things I never thought she wouldn't be able to have are Little Debbies Swiss Rolls (the ho ho's!) they are manufactured in a plant that contains nuts and she also can't have certain types of wheat bread bc they contain sesame seeds!!  First is the picture that was taken on our way to the ER and the second was immediately after receive the EPI shot at the ER.  I'll post a detailed blog about my thought on all of that later but for now its getting late so I need to get this done.

This was supposed to be primarily a "picture" post but I would like to finally add that Beans vocabulary is BOOMING.  Now she isn't a Della yet :P or anything (can you sense my momma jealousy??).  She can say that basics:  Momma, Dada, PapPap, Nanny, Baby, BooBoo, Banana, Leesie (Aunt Lesa) and she also says, Cook (for when she is hungry), Poop and her ever so famous Purple (which if its the color it sounds more like Puuurpool and if its the Popsicle its Purpop).

Some of my favorite words she says are Please & Outside.  Please is always so elaborate.  It sounds like peeeeeeease and outside is just cute.  She also called Lexus "Poo Poo" Because we have always called Josie JosieBean and Lexi LexiPooPoo.  She can now form sentences to answer questions or to get her point across. Just a few off the top of my head are "I did" if you say something like "go do this". She can also say stuff like "go outside" "don't do that" or "put me down" "where did it go?"

She is a sassy one I tell you.  I'll do my best to put them in chronological order.  Here goes:
Making Lemonade!!
